Thanks to everyone who joined us for our first celebration of “The Bead Bash: An Evening of Mardi Gras to Benefit Triad Health Project.” We had a great evening with supporters and friends, who arrived at the event decked out in festive masks, feathery boas, shiny beads and fantastical costume creations. Miss Kitty Litter, Fuscia Rage and friends entertained the crowd with musical numbers, while guests enjoyed Cajun cuisine and the city skyline view from Kress Terrace. Bidding on silent auction items, attendees were excited about offerings of everything from one-of-a-kind jewelry designs to symphony tickets. Auction enthusiasm hit the heights when Kitty Litter auctioned off an all-expenses paid safari trip to South Africa! Party revelers rounded out the evening by hitting the dance floor to enjoy beats by DJ MaCray. The Bead Bash raised over $53,000 for Triad Health Project’s services for people living with HIV and testing and education programs that reach thousands of people in the Triad each year! Check out photos from The Bead Bash here.
Mark your calendars for the next Bash Bash on February 22, 2020 at a new location!
