Proper nutrition is essential for any human being, but is particularly important for individuals whose immune systems are significantly compromised by HIV.

More than 85% of THP clients living with HIV have incomes at or below the Federal Poverty Level and more than 30% have no income at all. THP’s client food pantry is critical to many of these clients in overcoming food insecurity and meeting basic nutritional requirements. In 2015-16 THP distributed 2,630 bags groceries to clients at an average cost of $6 per bag.
