Over the past few months, THP has welcomed two new team members to be part of the case management services we provide each year to over 550 people in our community who are living with HIV/AIDS. Kathryn Weitzner joined Triad Health Project in August 2017. Originally from Atlanta, Kathryn came to know Greensboro during her undergraduate studies at Elon University. It was at Elon that she first developed an interest in working with individuals living with HIV, volunteering at Alamance Cares and assisting a professor with research on perinatal HIV. After graduating from Elon, Kathryn went on to pursue a Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Georgia. At UGA, she focused her studies whenever possible on how to use social work values and principles to work with those living with HIV. Upon receiving her MSW, Kathryn jumped at the opportunity to move back to North Carolina and follow her passion of working in the HIV field at THP.

Natalie Robinson graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education with a concentration in Community Health Education and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies in May of 2015. A certified Health Education Specialist, Natalie is from Eden and made Greensboro her home following graduation from UNCG. As a student at UNCG she gained an interest in sexual health education, including prevention of sexually transmitted infections and contraceptive use. Natalie has been interested in connecting individuals in the community with resources, which led her to Triad Health Project and the vital work the agency does in helping clients access resources to overcome barriers to HIV treatment. She joined the THP staff in January of 2018 as a Case Manager. Natalie enjoys her work as a Case Manager and looks forward to the engaging future of THP. We are thrilled to have both of these young professionals with their extensive backgrounds in HIV care and public health, and their passionate commitment to serving our community.
