For many years Triad Health Project has asked the Guilford County community to come together each Spring and host dinner parties to support our mission. Spring is here and our mission still continues: to see Our Future Free from HIV. While we would love nothing more than to gather together for a dinner party, we recognize that it is essential for your health and vital for the health of the clients we serve to follow the advice of the CDC and be #AloneTogether as much as possible. We know this is hard for you, for us and for our community, but we are committed! We miss you, so….
…we are hosting Lunch For Friends on Fridays each month at 12pm. Lunch For Friends will be a Facebook Live event hosted by Triad Health Project. We’ll talk, host special community guests, and most importantly, order lunch from a local restaurant to help support our local economy. We encourage you to do the same!
We hope you’ll join us and be #AloneTogether as we continue to Lunch For Friends!
Details to come.
We’re back! We grab some pizza from Corner Slice and get some face time with local leaders and people you should know! After kicking off with a powerful poem from Josephus documenting his reaction to the tragic murder of Ahmaud Arbery, we connect with our friends Jennifer Ruppe of the LGBTQ Center of Greensboro, the President of The A&T’s graduating undergraduate class (sporting cap and gown!), and NC NAACP President Rev. Dr. Anthony Spearman.
Summary coming soon.
A wonderful show where hosts Adrian Adams of THP and Shane Lukas of A Great Idea visited with many great friends, including the great local poet Josephus, local activist and hospitality guru Ivey Ghee, farmer Adam Coker of Asa Acres, experts from Wake Forest Baptist Health and High Point University, plus our very own Clinical Specialist Monet Johnson gives us tips on keeping healthy!
In spite of technical kerfuffelry, our hosts Adriana Adams of THP and Shane Lukas of A Great Idea not only make lunch time fun – but eventful. Relive the experience with the videos below:
Appearances from musician William Nesmith, Dr Kees Van Dam of the THP board, Lian from Ghassan’s, and our neighbor Rose plus our hosts Adriana Adams of THP and Shane Lukas of A Great Idea.
